Breaking Wave was painted from a reference photo that I took at Beavertail State Park in Rhode Island in January. I loved the flow of the water over the rocks and the wild way in which the wave was breaking up against the rocks. It was a windy cold day and that is reflected in the colors. The original of this painting will be for sale (unframed) after October 2016. (I am keeping it for entry into a show until then). Meanwhile, prints are available through this site.
